It is well known that titanium dioxide is a user of paints, especially rutile-type titanium dioxide. Globally, titanium dioxide accounts for 58%-60% of the total titanium usage in the paint industry. This is mainly because titanium dioxide outperforms other white pigments in various aspects. Therefore, coatings made with titanium dioxide as pigments are much superior to those made with ordinary fillers. Titanium dioxide is an indispensable component in paints. Its role is not only in covering power and decorative properties, but more importantly, it improves the physical and chemical properties of paints, enhances the mechanical strength, adhesion, corrosion resistance, light resistance and weather resistance of the coating film.
